You're going to have to follow the Publix truck to find this one, I suspect that it will disappear from shelves very quickly. If you happen to find a Publix that actually stocks the trial size Crest White Strips (only 1 of 4 stores I frequent has a spot on the shelf), look around behind the other big boxes since couponers are known to hide the moneymaker stuff (like vitamins) in the wrong place so they can come back later and get it. Since there is a limit of 4 like coupons (10-30 PG) you can only get four at a time. Also the coupon will beep because of the long bar code. Just ask the cashier to cover it up with their thumb and it will scan fine. There are no size exclusions on the coupon, so it is a valid match.

Sign Up For Publix Shopping Spree Coupons

It's back! Go HERE to sign up for your free coupon booklet from Publix for their next Shopping Spree promotion with Kraft, P&G and Pepsi products. The valid dates of the promotion are 10/06/11 thru 11/3/11. Hopefully, they will have made some changes to the coupons because last time they were store coupons with a LU#, but it said Manufacturer coupon on the header - talk about confusing! There also was some strict language about not combining with other coupons, and limit one per transaction.

 

Expect to receive the coupons between 10/5 and 10/15/11. Limit one booklet per household.

Publix Great Deals on Great Meals are back! General Mills and Publix have teamed together to provide us with some yummy products to make some great meals. They have put together a nice site with lots of coupons and recipes, like Creamy Chicken Casserole, Beef Taco Skillet and Buffalo Cheese Dip!

There are also great Publix coupons that you can stack with manufacturer coupons to get some great deals. I went out today and got some of the General Mills Cereals that were BOGO and found a nice display at the store with all these coupons. Checkout Is A Breeze?

I have to smirk when I see the new bags they have at #Publix. They say in big letters, I LOVE IT WHEN CHECKOUT IS A BREEZE. I normally don't notice what gets printed on the bags, but the long check out when they inspect all my coupons gives me plenty of time to ponder. Lately, I've been especially conscious to notify the person stepping into line behind me that "I have a lot of coupons (waving them wildly) so it may take a few extra minutes to checkout". They ALL leave. A while ago when I would warn people about the extended checkout behind me, they would say - Oh, that's okay I'm not in a hurry. Or, that's fine I don't mind.  But not anymore, they all look at my pile of paper and beat it out of there.

I know the cashier appreciates it too because they aren't allowed to shoo people away from their lines, but then they don't have to listen to the person complain about the wait after I've walked away with my stuff. Sometimes I even suggest they turn off their light (if they won't get in trouble - some managers won't let them) so people don't come into our line. And just a couple weekends ago, I asked a manager to open a line for me since I had so many coupons and would need manager override too for numbers (too many coupons compared to items - due to stacking). Anyway, I do try to limit the inconvenience for other shoppers just because I choose to  pay with coupons. It does take a lot of time and focused attention at the register to make sure they are all handled correctly, and I certainly don't want to rush the cashier.

So, I look at that brown paper bag and dream for the day, I too can have checkout be a breeze.

If you're in Florida, make time to get to Publix starting Thursday 6/30 to buy your groceries and use this coupon for $10 off $50 gas card! Thats a 20% savings on your next gas tank. It's a great time to use your publix peelie from the Sunday paper too.

You can find this coupon in the newspaper today in the Publix Ad, and in the stores starting Thursday. Grab a few extra ads to repeat the deal throughout the sale because they will disappear in a couple days from the stores. They also will likely run out of gas cards so be sure to get a raincheck from customer service.

My Publix Trip - Under A Buck

Well this week I've been stretching myself by trying to do deals at Kmart and Walmart, and Publix. Its way too much sorting, finding, clipping and shopping. The most wasteful part of it all is wasting time with the crabby cashiers at the marts who don't even know whats going on. I did four trips to Kmart this week and I ended up with lots of free product, but in hindsight I'm thinking its not worth it. Same with Walmart - my time and peace are worth more than the hassle of that store. So, I went and had a nice predictable trip to Publix and managed to find the new Smart Savings booklet at my TT store which was a score. Lots of great coupons in there like the Athenos yogurt PQ and the Caribou coffee PQ.

My trip was again mostly produce for our salads (we're still on our diet, more about that to come) and also trying to score some of the elusive deals on the Green Advantage Flyer before it expires on Friday. Again there were no Tylenol Precise heat patches or cream, so they were nice enough to write a couple rainchecks so I can attempt to find this product next month. We did get some of the free flashlights though. I was the coupon fairy today, handing out some $5 off $30 WD coupons to a friend we saw shopping, and then to the guy who stepped behind me in line and didn't mind waiting when I warned him off of the longer wait due to my coupons.
