Publix- My Essentials Rebate Trip

I've been on the lookout for the new "Get More from Your Essentials" coupon booklet with $10 rebate wyb $30 of product in one trip. I was able to get a few from customer service at two stores, but the other stores were out already. So, if you haven't found it yet, you may be out of luck. Anyway, I did one trip using some competitor coupons from Sweetbay and Target and the store allowed multiple competitor coupons per transaction. This is not always the case and you need to plan your trips depending on the policy enforced by the different store managers.

 

I bought 4 toilet paper and 4 pinesol to meet the requirements of the rebate. The other items were simply to bring up my total to $50 so I could use a $5 off $50 PQ. I also threw in four of the Sweetbay $2/2 any purchase coupons that I had from the free spanish paper last week. So to qualify for the rebate I purchased $31.92. The rebate is valid 10/13-11/9 and states "Limit maximum (2) gift card per person, per mailing address."

 

In the end, I spent $1.65, saving $63.75. And I will get a $10 rebate.

My Publix Trip - Saved 95%

We're still eating Papa Johns pizza since that Ray's 10 Strikeout promotion ended last weekend, so we didn't need to buy so much salad stuff. This trip was to restock on some cleaning supplies and use up those One Stop, One Store coupons that expire this weekend. The one item I wanted to get for sure was the Baileys coffee creamer before the current Yellow Advantage Buy coupon expires today. When stacking the MQ printable with the YAB PQ, there is a $1 overage on each one. I also managed to find some of the sale priced Cover Girl eyeshadows that provide a little overage. Only some of them are discounted, so I did a price check at the self checkout to verify it was $1.99 rather than $2.99. The store also had plenty of the Robitussin so I picked up 4, which is the limit on the MQs that can be used in one transaction.

 

I wish the gas card deal were still on, since my order was over $100 I could have gotten a couple more. But oh well, I got plenty to pay for our gas til the next sale. The order totaled $107, but after coupons it was down to $2.25 plus tax for a 95% savings. I ended up spending $5.49 on my Publix gift card.

Publix Pays w Gas Card Deal

I'm planning on stocking up on plenty of gas cards this week since we were down to just a few left in our stash. There are so many good deals from the One Stop One Store (OSOS) booklet where the PQ stacks with the MQ, its hard to get all the deals at once. I also meant to get the Hidden Valley salad dressing, but got so involved with calculating my totals in the store we forgot to go down that aisle. Oh well, I'll get in on my next shop. I also plan on getting some fantastik and Robitussin later this weekend.

 

Sorry no picture, it was pouring rain when we shopped so the laundry detergent is still in the trunk of the car. This shop was actually done in two transactions since the store I went to only allowed one gas card per order - you might want to ask at CS what the rules are before you shop. It would have helped me split the order better instead of having them just stop when they reached $50 in product on the checkout belt. Plus digging through the coupons to sort into two piles. I screwed up and they scanned one of the All in one order and another in the second order so I couldn't use the $3/2 coupon, so I had to do a void and a return - both a hassle! But by splitting it up I was able to use another sweetbay coupon for $10/$50. So, the bottom line is that I bought just over $100 dollars in product, and two gas cards for a total of $57.16 (If you take out the gas cards from the totals, they paid me to take all the product).
