Happy Valentine's Day

Here's my frugal valentine day flowers for all of you! I'm not really the type to get real excited about holidays, especially when they've become so commercialized. But everyone does seem to be happier on this cold winter day, so that's a good thing.

 

My dear husband is taking me to the Florida State Fair for our valentine's date. We'll see the circus and the extreme motorsports shows, and try to find some food that isn't going to totally ruin our diets, maybe a gyro or fajita. Oh, and we'll stop by to see Bobo the clown heckler, and the farm animals.

My Publix Trip - Running Out? Run In.

Well this week was just a matter of running in to get some essentials. Kind of like the giveaway, Running Out? Run in. Thats what we did, it was a quick trip. We just needed some salad fixins and some of the money maker cat treats, plus I figured I should get the bread now since it was BOGO and I had the bzzagent coupons.
We have hundreds of dollars of gas cards from previous deals but decided to have our overage go toward a gas card, so we got $26 of groceries and a $50 BP card for $30.68. Not the best savings, since all the phazyme and sominex were out of stock.  The Sambazon juice was almost gone too, so I guess some hard hitter couponer has discovered the store.
