Since its Publix Italian Days and they have lots of good stuff for pizza, we splurged and got the dough, sauce, pepperoni, veggies and cheese to make some homemade pizzas. Yum! We actually are very well stocked and the freezers are full so we used up our overage and those $2 PQ's from last Sunday's paper to get some fresh ingredients to make pizzas. We decided we'll skip the salads for lunches this week and have sandwiches. Its my DH's birthday today and his family has sent boxes of his favorite Minnesota bread down here, so we've got to move through it. We spent $4.95 and saved $111.14 for a 95% savings.
Anyway, the big splurge was the gruyere cheese from the deli costing $6.49 for a few ounces. I tell ya, that $2 coupon we've been getting the last 6 weeks has gotten us hooked on some unfrugal foods. I'm hoping they continue it, but actually when it ends it will be good for the diet.
